CURRENT EVENT
We are excited to announce our marquee event for Spring 2021 will be "Running With Purpose"! Things will be a little different due to the COVID-19 pandemic, but we hope to make just as much of an impact with this event!

Location: Remote/Online through the Strava app
Date: April 7th - 21st

To enter the run, a fee of $3 must be paid on MarketPlace. You can scroll to our name “With-Purpose: College Station”

To be eligible for the run, follow these steps:

Request to join our Strava Club, “WithPurpose College Station”

Tap the “Record” button at the bottom of your screen.

You can choose to either walk or run. To begin recording your distance, press “Start.”

After you complete the distance you choose, stop recording your activity. Then, press the “Finish” button.

IF YOU CHOSE TO WALK, THIS STEP IS IMPORTANT. You need to change your Sport status to “Run.”. You will only appear on the leaderboard IF you complete this step. If your activity was running, ignore this step.

Click the “Save Activity” button. You should then be able to see your map on the WithPurpose Club leaderboard.

If you cannot see your map on our leaderboard: Share your activity with the club by clicking the upload button (little file with arrow pointing up). Then choose to share using Strava.

Your activity should then be on the leaderboard. There will be multiple prizes such as most distance, random, and others.

Ignore any 7 day trials that strava promotes. You do NOT have to buy anything.

Running With Purpose Fundraiser
With Purpose: College Station is the Texas A&M student-led chapter of With Purpose. We are an organization of about 50 students who are inspired to make a difference. Our vision is to develop and empower individuals to make a difference in the lives of those affected by childhood cancer. We do this by executing marquee fundraising events each semester, so this Fall we are hosting a dodgeball tournament. Our goal is to raise the most money WPCS has ever raised from a marquee event, but we need your help!
By donating to this fundraiser, you are helping fund research initiatives that would otherwise only receive a portion of the 4% that the government allocates in the research budget to childhood cancer.
