In 2014, Erin Benson and Michael Lee founded With Purpose after their son's diagnosis with terminal brain cancer led to their discovery of the lack of funding for pediatric cancer research. Since its inception, With Purpose has evolved into a youth and community-led movement, advocating for families affected by childhood cancer and raising money to combat the issue. With Purpose: College Station was created in 2015 by ten Texas A&M students dedicated to the cause.
