"WPCS executed our first donation drive in Spring of 2016. We were so excited to have an opportunity to directly impact patients at MD Anderson Cancer Center and to get to actually see the change we'd been working so hard for. When we go, we set up donations in one of the activity rooms on the pediatric cancer floor. The kids get to come through with a bag and "shop" for toys and supplies. What isn't picked out by the kids and their families is kept for future use during programs. 

 

Since that Spring, we've been hooked. Going to MD Anderson at the conclusion of our semesters is one of the most-anticipated events for our members. It is a privilege to give these kids a moment of normalcy in their not-so-normal circumstances. "
